What is humanism?

Humanism is based on principles such as inclusivitytolerance and treating others fairly and with kindness.

It really comes down to simply doing your best to be a decent person.

That's it put briefly! If you wish to explore further you can find a wealth of information on the Humanist UK website here

Why choose a humanist wedding ceremony?

It's a legally binding ceremony in Northern Ireland.

It's personal and unique. A humanist ceremony is crafted especially for you - that's what sets it apart.

That means your ceremony can look however you want it to. Traditional? Yes!  Alternative? Yes! It really is your ceremony, your way.

You can include your choice of readings, music, symbolic acts and create your own vows.

A humanist wedding can take place at any time of the day, in almost any location (except a place of worship or registrar office).

What is your role as a celebrant?

My role is to deliver a wedding ceremony befitting of your love.

In order to achieve that, I get to know you and your love story, and wield that knowledge to create a meaningful ceremony like no other.

I love creating ceremonies that leave your guests feeling that they know you that little bit better, and of-course why you are getting married.

I can guide you through the creation of your ceremony, suggest readings, music and symbolic rituals that I feel fit your story.

...And as a former wedding planner sometimes I just can't resist but spill hints and tips to help you plan the rest of your day!
